Tim O'Neal
Chief Executive Officer
Tim O’Neal, MBA, BSN, RN, joined Palestine Regional Medical Center as the interim Chief Executive Officer in the summer of 2026 after serving in several leadership roles within ScionHealth/Lifepoint, including as Chief Operating Officer at Parkview Regional Hospital and as a Project Executive for ScionHealth – serving as Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer – at facilities in Ohio and Wyoming.
Born and raised in a small town in West Virginia, Tim has more than 20 years of healthcare experience in nursing, complemented by more than 15 years of leadership experience in large-scale, fast-paced healthcare settings. He’s served patients and communities in various capacities, from Emergency Room and Trauma nursing to the ICU, to instructing the next generations of caregivers as faculty, and in leadership roles in ER, Trauma, and Emergency Preparedness departments.
Tim is a results-focused executive who believes in servant/transformation leadership. Lean/Six Sigma-trained, Tim earned his associate’s degree in Nursing in 2001, his Bachelor of Nursing in 2003, and his Master of Business Administration in 2013. Tim lives in the area and has been married for 20 years. He has two children, 17 and 14 years of age. When not working, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and taking full advantage of time with family.
Anil Jain
Market Chief Financial Officer
Anil Jain joined the Palestine Regional Medical Center team in 2025 in the role of Market Chief Financial Officer, also overseeing Ennis Regional Medical Center and Parkview Regional Hospital.
Anil is an accomplished healthcare finance professional, with more than 44 years of experience. He began his career with HCA, progressing to hospital CFO roles. He later joined Tenet Healthcare, serving as project CFO and interim CFO for multiple facilities.
Anil graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1978 with honors in Accounting. He earned his MBA from Emory University and is a licensed CPA. Outside of work, Anil is an avid runner and walker. He is married to Neeru Jain and has two daughters, Renita and Rachel.
Daniel Huggins
MSHA, LSSGB
Chief Operating Officer
Daniel Huggins is a healthcare operations executive whose leadership journey began in housekeeping. That front-line experience continues to shape how he leads today: with respect for every role, an appreciation for the people doing the work, and a belief that every employee should feel valued and connected to the team. As Chief Operating Officer of Palestine Regional Medical Center, Daniel brings that same people-first perspective to the patients, physicians, employees, and communities the hospital serves.
Daniel has advanced through progressive healthcare leadership roles, including Director of Support Services, Vice President of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer. His experience includes hospital and ambulatory operations, support and ancillary services, facility operations, patient access, service-line growth, process improvement, and multidisciplinary team leadership. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on operational excellence while never losing sight of the human side of healthcare.
A Mississippi native, Daniel earned his undergraduate degree from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is continuing his education toward a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Healthcare Leadership and looks forward to completing the program. His professional development also includes Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and involvement with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Outside of work, Daniel is a proud father who values family, faith, fitness, and enjoying life. He loves working out, football season, and the Dallas Cowboys. Just as importantly, he genuinely enjoys people - building relationships, sharing a laugh, and creating an atmosphere where teams can work hard while still enjoying the people around them.
