Doug Holzbog
Chief Executive Officer
Doug Holzbog joined Palestine Regional Medical Center as Chief Executive Officer in April 2024, bringing more than 30 years of healthcare experience to the position. Doug has held a series of senior leadership positions in both Physician and Hospital Operations in Durant and Lawton, Oklahoma; Paris, Texas; and Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He also owned and managed a medical and billing company for 20+ years. Doug graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration-Healthcare Management from Western Governors University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M-Commerce. A native Texan, Doug spent his childhood years in Forestburg, Texas, and raised his family in Denison, Texas. He and his wife, Charla, have four children who are now raising their own wonderful families. In his spare time, Doug enjoys time with family and friends, all forms of fishing, live music, and being outdoors.
Anil Jain
Market Chief Financial Officer
Anil Jain joined the Palestine Regional Medical Center team in 2025 in the role of Market Chief Financial Officer, also overseeing Ennis Regional Medical Center and Parkview Regional Hospital.
Anil is an accomplished healthcare finance professional, with more than 44 years of experience. He began his career with HCA, progressing to hospital CFO roles. He later joined Tenet Healthcare, serving as project CFO and interim CFO for multiple facilities.
Anil graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1978 with honors in Accounting. He earned his MBA from Emory University and is a licensed CPA. Outside of work, Anil is an avid runner and walker. He is married to Neeru Jain and has two daughters, Renita and Rachel.
Shane Crisp

Market Chief Nursing Officer
Shane Crisp joined the Palestine Regional Medical Center team in 2025 in the role of Market Chief Nursing Officer, also overseeing Ennis Regional Medical Center and Parkview Regional Hospital.
Shane is a skilled healthcare executive with more than 38 years of leadership and clinical experience. He began his career in healthcare in the Air Force before joining Carolinas Healthcare System (now Atrium Health). His career includes stops at Presbyterian Healthcare System, LifePoint Health, Ascension Health, and Memorial Hermann Healthcare System before joining our team. He has served in positions ranging from surgical team lead to Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Nursing Officer.
Shane graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Excelsior College and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from California Coast University. He is married, with two daughters and one grandson. Outside of work, he is passionate about music, enjoys fishing – especially fly fishing, and spending time at the gun range.
