DR. ROBERT LAUNIKITIS JOINS PALESTINE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

Palestine, Texas (June 1, 2019) – Palestine Regional Medical Center announced that Robert Launikitis, M.D., has joined its staff and will be offering orthopedic surgical services to patients in Palestine and the surrounding East Texas region. Dr. Launikitis, a Texas native, is the first surgeon to join Palestine Regional Medical Center this year as the hospital continues to grow its primary care and surgical services.

This expertise will be important as Palestine Regional Medical Center works to make our community healthier.”
Dr. Launikitis has practiced medicine in The Woodlands, Texas at Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and later founded Rock Orthopedic and Hand Center. Prior to that Dr. Launikitis worked in the medical field in Bryan and Galveston, Texas. Collectively He has more than 14 years of experience, with a strong background in general orthopedics and special interest in hand, upper extremity, and sports medicine.
Dr. Launikitis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He will begin seeing patients at Palestine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic, located at 4002 S. Loop 256, on June 1, 2019. For a referral or to schedule an appointment, please call 903.731.5038.
